These Terms of Service govern your use of britbasket.co.uk and purchases made from Britbasket. “Britbasket”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Britbasket. “You” refers to a visitor or customer.
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot legally be excluded under UK consumer law.

You must use this website lawfully. You must not use it for fraudulent or unlawful purposes, introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt its operation or unlawfully copy or exploit its content.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the store, customers or our legal rights.
## Product Information
We aim to describe and display products accurately. Colours and appearance may vary slightly because of screen settings, photography, lighting and reasonable manufacturing variations. Measurements may have reasonable tolerances, and packaging may differ without affecting the product's essential characteristics.
If we discover a material description or pricing error, we may contact you for instructions or cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
## Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in GBP unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes and standard charges will be shown before an order is submitted.
Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance. A binding contract is formed when we confirm acceptance or dispatch the order, depending on the wording of our confirmation.
## Orders
After placing an order, you should receive an electronic acknowledgement. This confirms receipt but may not constitute acceptance.
We may reject or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, including unavailability, an obvious price or description error, failed payment authorisation, suspected fraud, delivery restrictions or legal requirements. If payment has been taken for a cancelled order, we will refund the relevant amount.
## Delivery
Delivery estimates, destinations and charges are described in our Shipping Policy and during checkout.
Unless another delivery period is agreed, goods should normally be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is entered into, as required by applicable law.
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you or a person identified by you to receive them. Ownership passes when full payment has been received, subject to applicable law.
## International Fulfilment
Some products may be dispatched by third-party suppliers or fulfilment partners, including partners located outside the UK. Britbasket remains your point of contact regarding the order. The fulfilment location does not remove the statutory rights available to UK consumers.
Any customs charges or import taxes payable by a customer must be clearly disclosed before purchase where applicable.
## Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Cancellation, return and refund rights are explained in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Nothing in our policies limits your legal rights concerning faulty, damaged, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.
## Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions may have additional conditions. Unless stated otherwise, discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash, only one code may be used per order, and codes may have expiry dates or product restrictions.
Promotions may be withdrawn or corrected where an error or misuse occurs. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

Unless stated otherwise, the website's branding, text, graphics, layout and original content belong to Britbasket or its licensors.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit protected content without permission.

## Liability
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, was not caused by our breach or relates to business use where products were purchased as a consumer.
## Events Outside Our Control
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and contact affected customers where appropriate. This does not remove your statutory cancellation, refund or delivery rights.
